India in the 21st century

We are not in a race with China, because they have already won the race. If a country of one billion people cannot become the third-largest economy, then we need to have our heads examined. What counts is per capita income. Let’s not go overboard about this idea of the 21st century being India’s century. On a macro level it may be, but not in terms of lifestyle or earnings.

Well said and I am glad to know that this guy is actually an Indian politician. It sure gives me hope.
