Oracle OpenWorld 2005

I will be at Oracle OpenWorld starting tomorrow. I have never attended a major IT conference. Period. I know it’s kinda strange. You would think living in Silicon Valley for the past 6 years would mean I would have had a chance to attend a whole slew of these by now. Too bad I was not that fortunate. Until now, that is. Anyways, as you can imagine, I am pretty pumped and somewhat nervous about it. It’s especially exciting to finally get an opportunity to hobnob with a few of my Cisco colleagues whom I have never had a chance to meet in person as they’re based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
I do plan on doing some photoblogging from Moscone Center, if time and my gadgets permit. However, these are all day events and I have a 40-mile one way commute to get to Moscone Center by 8:00 am every morning. Bottomline, I am not promising anything
Wish me luck.
