Was it worth it? I don’t know. It’s not up to me to decide. What I do know is that there are people in this administration, who because of their dishonest (some call it, “gut”) instincts, caused a loss of lot of lives, innocent I might hastily add. Who holds them accountable for their deeds (or should I say, stupidity). It will be interesting to see how the history books are written on this one. I can’t wait.

The execution was justice done.I dont know why people in India and other parts of the world are condemning the execution of a mass murderer.
Maybe If Osama gets arrested and executed, then too these guys will do the same.
Its simply ridiculous………..

If you had read my post a tad bit closely, you would have noticed that I said nothing about whether justice was indeed done in this case or not. It’s not for me to say. Do I personally think Saddam had committed crimes? Most likely. Did he deserve what he got? Probably. Do I think the due process of justice was followed in this case? ABSOLUTELY NOT. And if you disagree, go read up on what happened to Slobodan Milosevic and how his case was handled versus how Saddam’s was.

Again, I do not have enough information to say one way or the other about whether Saddam got what he deserved. Frankly, I could care less. What I do care about is holding folks of a civilized nation (and that too a superpower) accountable for their deeds as well.

Hope this clears things a bit.
